Christmas Eve

Since we were voluntold (jo's term for being volunteered by somebody), we hosted our Family Christmas Eve dinner at our house.

4th Year Wedding Anniversary

Many are wondering what date do we really celebrate our wedding anniversary. Well, it's really quite confusing since our pastor married us 3 times. Here they are: 

December 10, 2003- Solemnization. Our pastor kinda dedicated us in front of Jo's family and my late mom. He did it for the sake of Jo's family to see us get married before they left for canada the next day.

December 23, 2003 - Legalization of our Wedding. This was the day when our pastor declared that we can live together as husband and wife.

January 17, 2004- This was our church wedding/ceremony where our family and friends came over.

So we decided to celebrate it on the 23rd of December since that was the day when we signed the contract and lived together as married couple. 

Anyway, we celebrated it at the Calgary Tower and had dinner @ the Panorama Dining Room. 

Old and new!

Since I bought some photo albums from the auction, I decided to get most of our old and new pictures developed. But I just found myself amazed to see how differently we looked!

Joseph, the new Real Estate Agent

I am so proud of my husband who just passed his REAL ESTATE exam yesterday. After all the reviewing (or maybe just watching FRIENDS and SMALLVILLE series, hmmmm), it's all worth it. Now we know the reason why we didn't go to Japan and the Philippines. This was all God's plan. Besides we are now enjoying our house too!

NAPA get together

It's been 3 weeks since I stopped working @ Napa Auto Parts. I used to love working there but things had changed... Anyway, we had a get-together party on Saturday night.. We had tons of fun!
Wow, I can't believe we were that many Asians working there!

A good change,,,

Jo and I decided to start excercising in the morning by walking to the nearest coffee places like Tim Hortons (but we did not go in there, maybe next time) near our home. It's a good start though it's hard to get up early and walk in the freezing weather.

Sharon Cuneta in Calgary...

Here are some of the pictures taken during the dinner/press conference and concert with Sharon Cuneta (she's so famous in the Philippines, actually, she's known there as the Mega Star).. Though the dinner was served late and the concert started late, of course Filipino time, it was worth the wait.

We were a little bit disappointed because the group picture taking with her was so unorganized. Anyway, we got souvenir pictures somehow.

Family clean-up in our backyard...

Jo rented a bin from home depot and since his family had been offering to help us get rid of our junk/garbage , we called everybody and had a "Clean-up Get Together Day" in our backyard on Sept. 22. Jay was there to help us too! 

I was hoping that we could also get rid of the stuff Jo bought from the auction that we don't even use but he caught me from giving them away to his family so I stopped...

Jo and Cey's Camping Time

To spend some quiet time together, Jo and I decided to go camping on Aug. 24-25. We had a lot of fun together which includes doing crazy stuff like jumping into the FREEZING WATER (Jo forced me to do it!) I attached videos of us. Check them out!
