Gifts opening,,

Asia finally opened all her presents last night. We did it early because they are spending christmas in Edmonton with Colin's family. So in the end, it will only be Jo and I for Christmas....

A Christmas Feast

We hosted a great feast for some great friends at our Christmas potluck dinner yesterday. And we also played a looooooooong poker game, and Jo mysteriously won!!!
We wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Jo did a great job stuffing the turkey,, considering that it was his first time doing it!!!!

NAPA Christmas Party

We had our company Christmas Party on Saturday held in the Blue Room @ the Stampede Grounds.We had a little trouble looking for a parking spot at that night because a Hockey game was on, too. So we just decided to park @ the Elbow Casino, we didn't gamble though,,,, Yup! We walked from there down to the Stampede Grounds (It was FREEZING!!!) But at least we made it.We really had fun specially when Jo took me to the dance floor when they played the song "Lady in Red" (I was wearing a black dress but it still worked!?!)

Thanksgiving Dinner,,

We really had a great time last night.. Shanna and Jason prepared a very delicious dinner for us to celebrate American Thanskgiving day.
We miss those kinds of gatherings/fellowships....

Go Flames Go!

Since the company that work with gives away free tickets to watch Calgary Flames, I was fortunate enough to get another pair last Wednesday to watch the game played by Calgary Flames vs Chicago BlackHawks...By the way, that was the 2nd time I
had witnessed a Hockey game in my entire life (as if they play it there in the Philippines!! hahaha!) At least they didn't disappoint me that night. Unlike the first game I saw,,, they WON!
But, do I consider myself a Flames' fan? Not yet... I like them though!

Sorry guys if we haven't updated our blog in a while,,, Things are just going crazy and so are we!!!!
We moved in to Papa Don's house 3 weeks ago to housesit and dogsit while they are away in the Philippines,,, they are planning to stay there 'til March next year. For us, it's a good thing that we are staying @ their house for now since Jo is still cleaning up his mess in our own house!! (just kidding,,, he's trying to finish the house!)
Things are still going slowly but surely...
